Child care

Many parents have to work in Bangkok because that is where the work is. As a result of this, children are left in the care of grand parents and other family sometimes for weeks on end. The local government tries to support these parents by providing a child daycare centre for the very young children.

There are up to 80 children aged 3 - 5 years at the day care centre. We really need volunteers to work at the day care centre and make a real difference to these children's and the staff's lives. Volunteers need no special skills, just an ability to have fun with the children by getting involved with them at all levels. They will also be encouraged to help the local staff learn English when time allows.
